IT: Opportunities And Risks For Your Business

This content rich evening event offers business support to local owners of small and medium sized businesses and start-ups.

Using IT to grow your business doesn’t have to be about embracing the latest technological fad or investing heavily in new systems; it could just be about making low cost changes to get more out of your current technology. At the same time we all need to be aware of the big trends that could radically alter the business environment – and the risks which could damage our businesses.

Expert presentations on:

1. Getting the maximum use from your IT to grow your business

Martyn Keates, Chartered Accountant and Business Advisor, Keates & Co

2.  Cyber security: How to understand and manage the real threat to your business

Mark Taylor, Operations Director, Computer Forensics Alliance

Afterwards, take the opportunity to network and talk to a chartered accountant business advisor for some free business advice and find out what support your business can get from the Council.

The event will be followed by the Harrow Business Consultative Forum, which will be an opportunity to find out about the future budget for Harrow for 2016-17 and business rates proposals.

Tea/coffee and snacks will be provided.
