National Minimum Wage rises by 30p an hour

UK employers now have to pay full-time staff aged 25 and over a minimum of £7.50 an hour.

Employers take note: The National Minimum Wage has risen by 30p to £7.50 an hour for full-time employees aged 25 and over.

Effective as of April 1, employees will also see a rise in National Minimum Wage for full-time employees aged 21 to 24 to £7.05 an hour – the second increase in six months.

 If you employ staff then you have a duty to be aware of and comply with the different legal National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates.
