Your Business Community Meets Nigel Farage MP to Discuss Small Business Challenges

Members of Your Business Community met with Nigel Farage MP on Friday July 4th for a wide ranging discussion on the urgent challenges facing small businesses across the UK.

Hosted in Clacton-On-Sea, the meeting covered key issues including excessive red tape, access to public procurement opportunities, the future of apprenticeships, high energy costs, unfair business rates, and the decline of the UK’s high streets.

The discussion reflected growing frustration from small business owners, especially microbusinesses and sole traders, who continue to feel excluded from policy making and underrepresented in public debate.

“This was a constructive meeting,” said Ted Wigzell, speaking on behalf of Your Business Community.

“We appreciated Mr Farage’s willingness to listen and engage directly with the concerns of real businesses. These issues go beyond party politics, they’re about survival and sustainability for the backbone of the UK economy.”

Also in attendance were representatives from @reformparty_uk, Tendring District Council, and the BBC.

Your Business Community will continue to meet with elected representatives from across the political spectrum to push for policies that truly support small and microbusinesses.
