I recommend you read the article because I got a shock. Now I’d checked in the past what our obligations were under Data Protection and done our best to prepare for GDPR. I’d filled out the ICO surveys and we were previously exempt, but I thought it doesn’t do any harm to double check.
I’m glad I did. It turns out if I hadn’t we’d have been one of the 90% breaking the law! A big thanks to Paul Kelly of YBC for his post which has helped keep us legal and up to date.
